Abstract Submissions for Nursing Leadership Conference

Abstract Guidelines for the Adelphi University 16th Annual Nursing Leadership Conference

The Adelphi University College of Nursing and Public Health and Alpha Omega Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) invite you to submit an abstract for the 16th Annual Nursing Leadership Conference taking place on May 6, 2020, that illustrates research, innovative programs and initiatives, or evaluation processes that indicate advancement in nursing education, practice, and research.

This year, as part of our continued commitment to the evolving and developing leader, the Committee is open to acceptance of student research in the Undergraduate, Graduate and Doctoral categories.

The committee is particularly interested in abstracts that address: how leaders adapt and meet the challenges of the healthcare industry.

The abstract should include:

  • Background information of the research or project
  • Description of methods, programs, or practices
  • Original work recommended and may include work in progress

Each abstract will be peer reviewed. If accepted for poster presentation, all presenters at the conference must be paid attendees. Incomplete submission and abstracts received after Friday, April 10, 2020, will not be considered. Unaccepted abstracts will not be returned to the primary author.  All rights for abstract materials, both accepted and rejected, are the intellectual property of the primary author and co-authors (when applicable).
