Dispelling Fact from Fiction: A Public Health Discussion of COVID-19


Adelphi University College of Nursing and Public Health Master in Public Health Program will be hosting a virtual seminar and chat addressing pertinent facts as well as misinformation surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.

Carlos Mejia, MD, Instructor in Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Washington University in St. Louis Medical School

In Washington University in St. Louis Medical School, Dr. Mejia serves in two clinics: one general infectious disease clinic and one virology.

Dr. Mejia’s research interest is in general infectious disease. He is an active collaborator on several projects conducted at the Infectious Disease Clinic at Roosevelt Hospital and the National Program against Tuberculosis, both in Guatemala.
