The Adelphi University College of Nursing and Public Health program allows the registered nurse to advance their career by completing educational goals in a dynamic, convenient and flexible environment. Classes in this major are online in a cohort model, with the exception of 35 clinical hours which must be completed at a clinical site.
Current, unrestricted United States RN License and a GPA of 3.0 is required for admission to our program. However, eligibility for unlicensed graduates of accredited associate who have licensure endorsement will be considered for provisional admission to the RN to BS program. Provisional admission will require that you pass the New York State Boards within 6 months of graduation from your associate degree or diploma program. Students entering the provisional program will only be permitted to take up to 9 credits in non-nursing required courses. Any additional questions regarding admission to this program should be addressed to the Director of the RN to BS program.
