Student Clubs and Societies
Student Nurses Association (SNAP) The Student Nurses Association is dedicated to furthering the study of nursing through meetings, special events, and conferences. The association sponsors an annual career day/ job fair and encourages members to attend statewide and national nursing conferences.
The association plays an important role as a support system for students, arranging for student-to-student mentoring and offering assistance on issues relating to student life, nursing courses, and University course requirements.

Sigma Theta Tau
Alpha Omega is the Adelphi chapter of Sigma Theta Tau, the international nursing honor society. It recognizes superior academic achievement and scholarship, fosters high professional standards, and encourages the development of leadership skills. The society's goal is to strengthen its members' commitment to the ideals and objectives of the nursing profession.
Juniors and seniors with a GPA of 3.0 are eligible for membership. Graduate students must have a GPA of 3.5 to be considered for membership.
