Abstract Submissions

Abstract Guidelines

The Adelphi University College of Nursing and Public Health and Sigma Theta Tau Alpha Omega Chapter invite you to submit an abstract for the Nursing Leadership Conference poster presentation, taking place on May 3, 2017, that illustrates research, innovative programs, initiatives, or evaluation processes that indicate advancement in nursing education, practice, and research.

The committee is especially interested in abstracts that address: how leaders adapt and meet the challenges of the healthcare industry.

The abstract should include:

  • Background information of the research or project
  • Description of methods, programs, or practices
  • Original work and can include work in progress.

Each abstract will be peer reviewed. If accepted for poster presentation, all presenters at the conference must be paid attendees. Incomplete submission and abstracts received after Saturday April 15, 2017 will not be considered. Unaccepted abstracts will not be returned to the primary author.  All rights for abstract materials, both accepted and rejected, are the intellectual property of the primary author and co-authors (when applicable). 

  • including co-researchers and members who added significant scientific contribution, who will be acknowledged in the abstract booklet
    The scientific committee reserves the right to propose abstracts forwarded for oral presentation to be considered for poster presentation.
