The Adelphi University School of Nursing, in conjunction with the Alpha Omega Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International, is pleased to announce its Fifth Annual Leadership Conference: “Nursing Leadership: Creating Harmony and Safety in the Workplace “.The conference is on April 3, 2009 from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM at the Woodlands in Woodbury, New York. The purpose of the program is to provide knowledge and ideas to today’s leaders in order to assist them in providing a safer and more pleasant environment leading to improved patient outcomes and employee satisfaction. Professionals in clinical practice, educational professionals, faculty, administrators, and students should attend this not-to-be-missed conference.
The conference will feature keynote speaker Beverly Malone, Ph.D., R.N., FAAN, CEO of the National League for Nursing. Included in the conference experts in the field will offer breakout sessions and join a panel discussion on the topic. Posters and raffles will also be featured.
Registration is $150 and includes breakfast, lunch and an after conference reception. To add a dimension to the day, we will again have an auction and exhibitors from various fields of interest for you to visit.
