Beverly Malone, Ph.D., R.N., FAAN
Chief Executive Officer
National League for Nursing
Dr. Beverly Malone, PhD, RN, FAAN is the chief executive officer of the National League for Nursing. Prior to assuming this position in February 2007, Dr. Malone served as general secretary of the Royal College of Nursing, UK.Dr. Malone sits on numerous advisory boards and committees and is an internationally renowned speaker. She served as president of the American Nurses Association (ANA) (1996-2000) and served a year as deputy assistant secretary at the United States Department of Health and Human Services. She also represented U.S. nurses in the Congress of Nurse Representatives of the International Council of Nurses. During her presidency, Dr. Malone served on President Bill Clinton's Advisory Commission on Consumer Protection and Quality in the Health Care Industry and was appointed to the Health Care Quality Measurement and Reporting Committee. President Clinton also appointed Dr. Malone as a member of the U.S. delegation to the World Health Assembly and she was a participant in the president’s round table discussion on the Patients' Bill of Rights.

Jacqueline Rose Hott, Ph.D, APRN, CS, FAAN
Dr. Jacqueline Rose Hott, is a clinician specializing in sex therapy, an educator, a researcher, and an author of many professional articles and books. She was Dean of the Adelphi University School of Nursing and presently serves on its advisory board. She was marred to the late Louis Hott, MD, and is the mother of four children and a grandmother. She has served as president of the Northeast Psychological Association, as vice-president of the Visiting Nurse Association of LI, NY, as a clinician for the Behavior Health program at New York University, as the executive director of MARNA (the Mid-Atlantic Regional Nursing Association), and is an active member of the Hadassah Nurses’ Councils.
