NUR 613: Special Needs Of Vulnerable Groups During Disasters 3 credits This course addresses the role and strategies of responders for vulnerable populations with special needs during time of disaster. The special needs of children, elderly, chronically ill, pregnant women, economically disadvantaged, homeless, and those with severe mental illness will be considered in context of natural and man made disasters.
