Hall of Fame |

Adelphi University and the School of Nursing have established a Nursing Hall of Fame to recognize the outstanding achievements of graduates and to honor those leaders who have made significant contributions to nursing. The Nursing Hall of Fame is located on the main floor of Swirbul Library and includes pictures of the inductees, as well as memorabilia and historic documents from the School of Nursing.

Criteria for Selection
- An outstanding clinician providing service to individuals with specific health care needs
- Exemplary nurse researcher with a program of funded research
- A nurse with national recognition for professional achievement
- An author of scholarly works in nursing or health care
- A health care administrator whose vision and activities have broadly impacted nursing care
- A public leader whose work has positively impacted health policy and/or supported nursing
- A meritorious contributor to the Adelphi University School of Nursing
